Welcome to ASEC!!!

We know that the main reason you may want to come to the United States to study English is to have a chance to speak with Americans and learn about American culture.  Because of that, our program not only teaches you the English you will need at American universities, but we make sure that you have many opportunities to use your English after class.  Also, living with an American on our campus will help you to quickly feel a part of our campus and provide you with many cultural activities.

ASEC is a department of Southern Nazarene University so our students may earn university credit toward an English degree while they study if they wish.  SNU is in Bethany, Oklahoma, which is a small, quiet town on the outskirts of the capital of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City.  Look at our webpage and you will discover that the best way to meet Americans, make American friends, and learn to speak English is to attend the Center for Applied Studies in English.
